Groundwater Hazard Statement Instructions In addition, effective July 1, 1987, all conveyances, including leases and subdivision plats, must also be accompanied by a Groundwater Hazard Statement. Declaration of ValueĪll conveyances of real estate recorded after January 1, 1979, must be accompanied by a Declaration of Value form, unless exempt pursuant to Chapter 428A.ĭeclaration of Value Form Groundwater Hazard Statement ![]() The letter “A” should be entered in the book field and “129” as the page field. ![]() All plats beginning with the letter “A”, such as “A-129”, are found in the Recorder’s eSearch. These plats can be found under the survey plat index type. If you have a plat reference beginning with a number rather than a letter, you will find it in the Recorder’s general records except for book 970. When searching in the historical index for a plat, remember to search under the recorder’s index to plat AND under the recorder’s general records. The Recorder’s Historical Index dates are approximately 1847 through December 23rd of 1987. There is no limit as to combinations or exclusions, but must include the words 'grantor' or 'grantee'. * Grantors and grantees must be designated in order to be indexed. If one of the required fields begins on the first page and continues uninterrupted to subsequent pages, that meets the first page requirement. If there is not sufficient room on the first page, the page reference within the document where the information is set out shall be stated on the first page. Examples: page numbers, form numbers, return addresses, etc.Įvery document (except plats and surveys) containing any of the following items shall have such information on the first page of the document below the 3" margin: * Nonessential information contained with the margins does not have to comply with the 8-point requirement, but it should be noted that the Recorder is not liable or responsible for insuring that nonessential information is archived. *Ěll other margins on the first and subsequent pages will be a minimum of 3/4" All Recorder's certificates will be placed in this area. * Top 3" vertical space of the first page only of each document is designated for the Recorder's certification. (Note: 'Attachment' does not refer to an Exhibit, but additions to a document page.) *Ěttachments to a page may not be stapled or taped other than a securely attached bar-coded label or than as required by law. * Signatures must be in black or dark ink to insure reproduction from record and must have the name typed, stamped or printed underneath. (Note: Nonessential information within any margin is exempt from this requirement.) * No continuous forms or permanent binding, but documents may be stapled for presentation * Printed in black or dark ink on one side only *Ę.5" x 11" white, light-colored, 20# paper without watermarks or logos Non-standard fee, if applicable: $25 in addition to recording feeīusiness checks or money orders for correct amount should be made payable to "Jasper County Recorder."
